Looking back on 2025, we’re reminded that the joy of the journey is just as rewarding as the result. Each project begins with a vision and unfolds through its own unique process. From our moss wall classics to bold statement features that pushed ideas and creativity, here are three standout projects that highlight the variety, collaboration, and imagination that made the year so memorable.

1 - Rana Law Calgary: Lighting, Moss, and a Round of Applause!
It all started with a simple idea: a round frame with integrated lighting. Sounds straightforward, right? Well… not exactly. What began as a concept quickly turned into a creative back-and-forth, collaboration, and problem-solving adventure.
The result? A sophisticated signage feature for Rana Law’s new Calgary office that immediately makes a statement.

Visitors are greeted by a bold circular moss installation, its lush, undulating textures highlighted by built-in LED halo lighting that casts a soft, inviting glow. Pin-mounted letters in brushed brass complete the look, adding elegance and contrast to the vibrant green moss inlay.
This project wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing partners at Exhibit Studio, who engineered the framework and lighting to perfectly support our moss installation. Together, we transformed a simple idea into a striking feature welcoming all who visit.
It’s a reminder that even the simplest concepts can be created into something extraordinary with the right collaboration, creativity, and a little moss magic.

2 - Westin Hotel Calgary
More exciting reveals are on the way for this stunning feature, already becoming a fast growing application! (pun intended)
This faux green wall now welcomes guests into the gym area of the Westin Hotel in downtown Calgary, adding texture, life, and a refreshing touch of nature indoors. A huge thank you to Holland Design as their overall vision brought us into the project and allowed us to collaborate on exactly what would be featured in this vibrant installation.
The challenge? Deciding whether a moss wall or a plant wall would be the perfect fit. After careful consideration, we chose a layered faux green wall approach. But don’t worry, this isn’t your typical shiny plastic wall. Every leaf, fern, and frond was carefully selected to mimic the look, texture, and flow of a real living plant wall.

Bold, flowing lines were created to replicate how plants naturally grow, giving the installation an organic, graceful feel. Featured varieties include lush ferns in multiple shades and textures, soft Anthurium, dramatic split-leaf Monstera, and bushy grasses, each adding depth, dimension, and a wow factor for visitors.
This installation proves that even faux greenery can create an immersive, natural experience, perfect for spaces that want the beauty of nature without the maintenance of living plants.

3 - Rejuvenation Dermatology Clinic
The new clinic space for Rejuvenation Dermatology Clinic was given a classic application using some of our favorite mosses. This stunning piece showcases organic, flowing lines that echo the natural rhythm of a forest floor.
It’s meant to remind us of the feeling of walking barefoot through soft, spongy moss, cool and grounding to the touch. Warm tones of mood moss in three shades were layered with lush fern moss, moody forest-green pole moss, and light green sheet moss to create depth and movement.

Tucked behind reception in a secondary waiting area, the space offers a quiet moment of calm. Clients can relax, sip a tea, and enjoy the Forest Art before their appointment for an unexpected and soothing experience.

Looking into the future
As we step into 2026, we’re looking to carry forward the creativity, collaboration, and playful experimentation that made last year so memorable. From moss classics to bold statement features, each project reminded us that bringing nature indoors isn’t just about materials, it’s about the the feeling, and the story each space tells.
Here’s to another year of inspired design, unexpected ideas, and, of course, more moments of Forest Art magic.
